The Snoring Institute

The Snoring Institute, an affiliate of South Carolina ENT, Allergy and Sleep Medicine, is dedicated to treating children and adults with all types of upper airway dysfunction, and offers the most current snoring treatments and sleep apnea therapy. That includes the Pillar Procedure®, proven to be an effective treatment for snoring and mild obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Pillar® Procedure
This state-of-the-art procedure for treating snoring involves the insertion of three small implants into the soft palate (back of roof of mouth) to stiffen the tissue and reduce vibration. The simple treatment that can be performed in a single short office visit with minimal discomfort and rapid return to full activity. It can be used as a standalone procedure or in combination with other treatments and lifestyle changes to help patients stop snoring. Learn more.

Medical-based Options
For any patient who is not a good candidate for the Pillar Procedure or other treatment options offered through the Snoring Institute, the board-certified physicians of South Carolina ENT, Allergy and Sleep Medicine can provide a complete evaluation and develop an appropriate medical-based treatment plan. This may include a sleep study at our accredited sleep lab in Camden or our sleep facilities located at our Lugoff clinic.
